Tea Serving Cart
A tea serving cart in the proper setting can add distinction
and provide a place to keep a tea serving set together until it is needed. With enough shelves, it can also be used
to serve cakes, pastries and other snacks. Of course it hardly needs to be limited to being used for tea only;
these are excellent serving carts for any number of functions. The price range is varied and expansive. From
simple, functional carts to stunning pieces that will highlight a social gathering, the number of choices is
staggering. They are made of wood, glass, metal and combinations of those materials. For instance, AMB Furniture
makes several tea carts including a wooden patio serving cart, and five that are attractive metal and glass
carts.
The wood serving cart that could be used outdoors or on the
patio is a cart with only two front wheels to roll easier on uneven or soft surfaces. It has two large shelves and
three bottle holders on one end of the bottom shelf. This cart is available for under $100 and offers flexibility
by being able to be moved safely outside. Another tea cart that can be used outside is the "Trinidad Tea Removable
Tray Serving Cart" by Woodard. This unique cart is made of synthetic wicker that is laid over an aluminum frame by
hand. The bottom tray is covered by the wicker with a glass shelf in the middle. The top has a removable wicker
covered tray with two built-in handles. It rolls on four wheels, and even if used as a patio serving cart, you can
be assured of years of enjoyment. Woodward also makes a very attractive hand-made, heavy gauge wrought iron tea
cart called the "Briarwood Tea Mesh Top Serving Cart." This cart is distinctive with its two large front wheels and
two smaller rear wheels. It sports intricate scrolls and an iron mesh top. It is available in ten different
finishes.
Going back to AMB Furniture, one very nice cart they have is
their "Cherry Finish Wood Tea Serving Kitchen Cart." This cart features two frosted glass shelves, wooden rails
around both, and two bottle holders. With the handle and casters, moving this cart will be an easy task. You should
be able to find this cart for around $55. They also have the "Cherry Finish Wood Tea Serving Cart with Brass
Accents." This has two rounded, wooden shelves and a three-bottle holder on the bottom shelf. If you like metal and
glass creations, they have three. Two models are chrome finished, round carts with glass shelves. The "Chrome
Finish Metal Round Tea Kitchen Serving Cart with Casters and Glass Shelves" has three shelves, a handle for rolling
and a clean design. The shelves are 15 1/4 inch in diameter with raised chrome rails around each shelf. The "Chrome
Metal Finish Round Serving Tea Cart with Glass Shelves" is a new design with two 21 1/2 inch glass shelves, bottle
holders, and raised chrome rails to prevent spills.
As is shown in these few examples, a tea serving cart can be
had for a very reasonable price and serve as a welcome addition to any home. With the flexibility to choose a glass
serving cart with a metal frame, or one made of wood or metal, you can have one cart serve many functions apart
from just serving tea and snacks.
